Company Profile

Since 1993, Anubex has been a leading provider of innovative solutions for modernizing large and complex business applications. Today, Anubex continues in its mission to reduce the TCO and technical risk of organizations that run their core business systems using obsolete technology. Several of Anubex’ customers are ranked among the Fortune Global 500. Customers include Air France, Alcatel, Citibank, Aon, Mazda, ING Group, the French Ministry of Finance, BNP Paribas Fortis, Sony and Ford.

Anubex’ unique technology focuses on automated language transformation, the incremental enrichment of user interfaces, the replacement of antiquated transaction servers, customizable transformation rules, and the automated testing of interactive applications using massively parallel record-and-replay tools of its own design.

Anubex application modernization uses automated techniques to consistently and rapidly transform software applications to take advantage of the latest open computing platforms. Anubex migrations are frequently used to liberate valuable business applications from their dependence on outdated or otherwise unstrategic runtime or development technologies. Obsolete, often pre-relational databases; proprietary and inflexible programming languages and 4GLs; character-based screens; and 70s-style transaction monitors are all technologies our customers have been able to decommission, often with a ROI in as low as one year.

Anubex exclusively applies a proven methodology and specialized tools to optimally re-use the value in existing applications while automatically transforming them to leading-edge technologies. Projects are run according to the snapshot-oriented SOAR process: a set of best practices that maximizes flexibility by enabling businesses to change core systems freely while the migration is in progress. Central to the SOAR process is the use of tooling to automate the transformation of code and other artifacts – Anubex builds its own conversion tools to perform the bulk of the transformations with technical precision and consistency.

Current products include migrations for mainframe technologies like CA-IDMS, BS2000/OSD, SAG-Natural, JCL, REXX and ISAM/VSAM; minicomputer technologies like Wang Pace; and the migration of client-server technologies like Visual Basic 6 into .NET.
