Anubex increases capital and hires new Sales & Marketing Director
Expert company in IT-modernization focuses on further expansion and appoints Mario Mees as Sales & Marketing Director
Antwerpen, 8 May 2012 - Anubex, leader in automated software modernization, recently announced that in the frame of it’s new growth plan, it has performed a capital increase and appointed Mario Mees as Sales & Marketing Director.
Both decisions are a consequence of an increasing demand from the international market.
“A capital increase allows us to invest more in R&D and to further expand our offering”, says Louis Heymans, Managing Director at Anubex.
Apparently, the financial injection also had a catalyst effect on the expansion of the commercial team.
“Mario Mees brings along over twenty years of relevant experience and has an extensive international network.” says Heymans. ” I’m convinced that he will take our sales & marketing activities to a next level”, Heymans continues.
Mario Mees, who holds degrees in Applied Economics and IT Management and obtained an MBA at KU Leuven, has built his career as a director at Texas Instruments Software and Microsoft.
“Despite impressive references and a unique in-house knowledge base, there is still quite some marketing work to be done in order to position Anubex in the global modernization market. I’m looking forward to further develop Anubex commercially and to create partnerships with both local and global players. “ Mario Mees concludes.
Anubex, leader in automated software modernization, just announced it has been awarded a contract to migrate the Car Finance application used by Bank J.Van Breda & C°. The deal is valued at about 1.1 million USD.

The grant has been awarded for Anubex’ work designing a pluggable architecture migration tool prototype. The migration was for the Tax and Revenue Department of New Mexico, a US State agency performing a migration from IDMS, a prerelational database, to SQL Server.
