Collaboration VDD IQWare and Anubex increases Hyarchis.Net ease of use

Eindhoven, 13 december 2010 – VDD IQware, developer and supplier of the ECM-system Hyarchis.Net, has partnered with Anubex, software developer and specialist in automated migration of legacy software systems. This collaboration has resulted in HDC 4.0, a faster and even more robust version of the Hyarchis.Net Document Composition (HDC) component. The Anubex migration tool, VB NETamorpher, makes the MS Word application in HDC redundant, and preserves all Word functionality. As a result of the collaboration with Anubex, management and maintenance of HDC have been further optimized. The first successful implementation of HDC 4.0 was recently completed at De Hypothekers Associatie.

“Traditional, manual migration projects are generally speaking long winded projects that require a lot of end-user involvement”, says Kris Ceuppens, Anubex. “We noticed that the automation of migration projects is not only valid for applications developed with traditional (legacy) mainframe technology, but also for the migration of Client Server applications built with development tools such as Visual Basic 6 to .NET. Using VB NETamorpher we can automatically execute every VB6 migration to .NET, because special migration rules can be plugged into the tool easily, as is illustrated in this project. The implementation at De Hypothekers Associatie promises more successful joint projects for the future.”
