Anubex PMA: Pre-migration analysis

Migration projects are no exception: Depending on the size and the complexity of an application, the effort to complete a migration successfully can be as little as 20 person-days or as many as 5000. Specialized tools can automate the analysis of applications for migration and offer a fast means to get useful results for project planning, but even the best of these tools are limited in what they can do. First, the tools produce information that needs to be interpreted by an expert to arrive at precise workload forecasts; and second, wherever multiple migration paths exist for any one case, customer requirements need to be analysed to arrive at a satisfactory technical map.
Pre-migration analysis (PMA) is a service offered by Anubex and is an integral but optional step of all Anubex migration projects. With PMA, migration experts from Anubex go deeper into the technical specifics of both the application and the customer needs to uncover those issues that tools cannot capture automatically. PMA is also an opportunity for our customers to interact with our experts who can share their expertise from past experiences in similar projects.
